Julia Mazzucca

Julia is a young, detail-oriented individual who has always had a passion for all things creative. She has a well trained eye for quality, craftsmanship, textiles, and furnishings and loves making her clients dreams become a reality. Julia began her design and business journey at Rutgers University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Labor Studies and Urban Planning. While studying at Rutgers, Julia learned an appreciation for business and space planning, but soon realized that interiors were her true passion. In order to incorporate this passion into her future, she became dually enrolled at NYIAD, where she received her Interior Design degree. Since then, Julia has continued to follow her creative passion while working for a handful of luxury residential/commercial construction and interior design companies. Now Julia is beyond excited to be taking the next step of her creative journey as founder and owner of Oggi Design House. When she is not creating and overseeing all things design, Julia can be found at the beach or having dinner at her favorite local restaurants.

Ellisa Gumina

For Ellisa, Oggi is the definition of a passion project. Her path should have been clear from childhood, where she could often be found playing interior designer in her Mother’s linen closet. But, like most things that come easy in life, interior design did not feel like work. Drawn again to a very visual medium, Ellisa went on to study Advertising. While working for an award winning Advertising Agency and throughout the time Ellisa was raising her family the desire to create beautiful spaces never faded. Ellisa could often be found directing residential interior design projects: additions, kitchen and bath renos, decorating, sourcing and shopping for friends and family. Her natural eye for design led to a few commercial jobs in the hospitality sector as well. Ellisa is also a certified yoga instructor whose studies and teaching experiences have helped shape the way she approaches a project, being mindful of how each space supports her clients’ overall well being and lifestyle. When the opportunity presented itself to partner with someone who is just as passionate about the business and open a design house there was only one answer, finally! Supporting her design partner on this journey at such a young age is just icing on the cake! When Ellisa is not creating beautiful spaces for her clients, she loves the freedom she finds on her beach cruiser or the joy she receives from cooking up memories in the kitchen for family!
